A controversial planning application

The Site: 1 School Paddock, Bucknell, Oxfordshire

Project: A Private homeowner had received numerous Planning refusals and rejected planning appeals for a new garage prepared by a previous Architect.

Ora design architecture was appointed to:

• Planning strategy: Review grounds for refusal and develop a planning strategy in line with current planning policy.
• Feasibility: Develop sketch designs and evaluate.
• Planning consultants: Consult, advise and evaluate
• Feasibility: Design a sympathetic scheme, justified and proved to be compliant with current planning policy.
• Planning application: Prepare application drawings and documentation manage and advise throughout.

Ora Design Architecture were delighted to obtain planning for this sensitive and slightly controversial Planning Application. Although a relatively small project this was a complex planning process given the planning history.
